FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

3d visualization is the process of creating realistic images on a computer in 3D and raster graphics programs. It is performed in several stages:
• 3d Modeling – at this stage, the geometry of the models for future visualization is studied. The construction of models is based on the artistic principle from simple to complex. With each step the model becomes more complicated, so that in the end its form becomes real. Repeat all bends, details, trivialities are performed manually by special tools and modifiers of the computer program. This process is not a minute! Sometimes such laborious work can take several hours, or even days. The result is a finished 3d model with strictly defined proportions, details.
• Creation of materials – at this stage of the model the basic properties are given: pattern, color, roughness, transparency, reflectivity, refractive index. For each object, they create their own unique properties. This process, like the modeling stage, can be time-consuming, painstaking, especially if the object is complex.
• Lighting – Lighting, requires special knowledge, and a photographic approach. Light is built the way a lighting engineer or a photographer in life would do.
Modern programs allow you to take into account the physical properties of light, so the result is identical to the photograph. It takes into account everything: sky, sun, artificial light sources, camera properties (sensitivity, shutter speed, shutter speed, white balance)
• Rendering is the process of rendering a computer a picture. During this process, all the resources of the computer are involved. The picture is calculated using a processor or video card. If the capacity is not enough, the scene is sent to the leased remote server. Especially if it’s an animation. At this stage, the resolution of the picture and its quality are set.
• Post processing is the final stage of 3d visualization, despite the multitasking of 3d programs. Almost always the resulting image requires post-processing in a raster graphics program (for example, photoshop). Here, colors, saturation, sharpness, and levels are pulled. Add some individual effects to give photo-realism.

Terms of Reference (TR) is key information.
Why is it important to competently drafted terms of reference. Accelerates the issuance of a finished project. Reduces edit time. Lack of disagreement and misunderstanding. Correctly calculated cost.
The terms of reference usually sign in detail on the points that need to be done:
The style of the object, furniture and decor.
The texture and color scheme of the floor covering;
The texture and color scheme of the walls;
The texture and color scheme of doors, windows and other interior details.
If we are talking about an architectural project, and not an advertising product, then we will also need:
Plan of floors, ceilings, furniture, lighting.
Additionally welcome: designer collages, photos of the object.
It is recommended to use AutoCAD format (dxf, dwg) for transferring drawings

Drawings of the building facades, floor plans, site improvement plan (where the main and additional infrastructure facilities are marked)
It is also important to know what materials will be used to decorate the facades in order to realize the building in the right color, and reflect the features of the texture of the coating.
It is advisable to think about the number of images that will be required at the output. Keep in mind that the image may have different resolutions for different uses.
Decide whether you need angles at a certain time of the year, the day and / or night view of the building you need.
Such additional materials as the liked examples of work and photographs of the current situation at the facility will help speed up the work.
We advise you to prepare drawings in .dxf, .dwg format (AutoCAD).
The speed and speed of execution depends on the detail and completeness of the volume of primary information. To avoid delays, it is worth passing us an exhaustive package of documents.

Terms of Reference (TR). Where the main colors of the brand are indicated, and a description of the advertising product. Dimensions of objects, their purpose.
Sketches, or drawings made in vector or freehand.
If it is a separate object, for example, for the site or catalog, specify the background (solid color or background). Do you need shadows or are they missing.

Edits and color schemes made more than three times are calculated individually based on the volume of adjustments. New concepts and stylistic decisions are also calculated individually, based on the existing volume of work already completed.

If we are talking about 3d modeling, then you get a clean 3d model with customized materials. But at the same time, there is no studio in which it was made and settings for 3d visualization.
If we are talking about the interior or exterior, you can get a scene with all the settings for an additional 50% of the cost of the project.

As a rule, these are images of at least 2000 px in width in the formats you request (jpg, png, or tiff) Intermediate renderings may be lower resolution. The content for the site in the form of goods is usually not less than 1400 px in width.

As a rule, it depends on competently prepared input data from the customer. If there is a full package, and the availability of 3d models, this speeds up the work at times.
A simple interior can be done in 2-3 days with minor changes. If the interior is more complex and requires refinement by the designer on the basis of the first renders received. Such an interior may take more time. An average of 5 days or more.
Exterior of a country house, performed on average in 5 days with surroundings. Without surroundings on a white background for 2-3 days.
Residential complex or village from 3 weeks.
Promotional product, depending on the specifics. If this is existing furniture for a catalog on a white background or a separate object on average 2 days. If this is a product in development, accordingly, it takes more time and the cost is higher.

It happens that the customer provides a 3d model made in the same programs in which we work. This may slightly reduce the price. But it often happens that this model is not suitable in order to quickly get the result. For example, executed in other more lightweight programs for 3d design. Or programs with other specifics of model building. Such models require adaptation, and can even increase the deadline for submitting pictures. Therefore, first we need to check how much the finished model will fit. Our prices have a general hint about this. The cost is mainly indicated for 3d visualization, taking into account the availability of ready-made 3d models. Everything that is not available, but needs to be shown in the project, requires 3d modeling and is paid extra.

The main program that we use in 3d designing is 3ds max (Autodesk). With v-ray or corona render. The resulting 3d model can be exported to many other formats. One of the most popular and most versatile is OBJ or FBX.

If you are a new customer for us, then according to the scheme 50% of the order. Very often with regular customers with whom we have been working for more than two years. Payment can occur at the very end, or vice versa at 100% prepayment. First of all, it depends on the total cost of the entire order. If this is a large project, for example, a house of more than 1000 m2 or an office with many premises. Payment can occur in stages for each room.

Yes, it is possible to use the contract of a legal entity (individual entrepreneur) and a business account in a bank. At the end of the work, an Act of Completed Works is signed.

The first stage: You provide us with input data: Terms of Reference, drawings, collages, photo links or drafts. And indicate, if you understand, the deadlines for the completion of work.
Second stage: Cost estimation, contract and prepayment of 50% percent of the project.
Third stage: Sketching options, these can be screenshots from the window of the 3d design program on which the volume will be visible. Or renderings in one gray material.
The fourth stage: Draft Renders in a small resolution and not high quality. With materials and lighting. Edits and approvals.
Fifth stage: Final renderings in high resolution and quality. Contribution of the final amount for the work. The signing of the certificate of completion.

Common situation. Depends on how many projects we have now in work. Are you ready to pay extra for urgency and work on the weekend. Are you ready for possible errors that may arise due to the high speed of work. We, in turn, will try to do everything in our power.
